Purpose: Get your system ready for the growing season.
Includes:
- Turn on irrigation main water supply
- Inspect and test each sprinkler zone
- Check for leaks, clogs, broken heads, or low pressure
- Adjust heads for proper spray pattern and coverage
- Minor height or angle adjustments (no digging)
- Program or reset irrigation timer/controller (if accessible)
- Flag damaged components needing repair or replacement
- Report findings and provide recommendations
- Priority scheduling for existing customers
Excludes:
- Digging or major repairs
- Replacing valves, vacuum breakers, or wiring (quoted separately)
- Non-functional controllers (replacement quoted)
When: September–October
Purpose: Prevent frozen pipes, burst lines, and costly spring repairs.
- Shut off irrigation main
- Use commercial air compressor to blow out all zones
- Open drain valves (if applicable)
- Inspect and drain backflow preventer
- Cap or wrap exposed lines/backflows if needed
- Check for residual water in main valve and system
- Document and report any damage or weak zones
- Freeze Protection Guarantee* (see below)
Excludes:
- Repairs to pre-existing damage
- Mid-winter revisits if homeowner re-pressurizes system
- Heated backflow covers or upgrades (available at extra cost)
